Welcome! I am the author of Psalmody, a poetry book about love.
Andrew Marr describes it as ‘timeless and bang up to the minute: […] with the page-turning urgency of a thriller.’
Psalmody won The Melita Hume Prize in 2015. In 2017, it was shortlisted for the Forward Prize, Felix Dennis Best First Collection. Click here for more information.
It was also chosen for the Wales Book of the Year and selected twice for The New Statesman Books of 2017 by Andrew Marr and Tom Gatti.
Paga was a winner of the 2014 Cinnamon Press Pamphlet competition. I wrote this at The University of Aberystwyth in Wales, which was home for ten years.
I teach with the University of Maryland, University College in Europe as an Associate Professor, and work as a freelance writer. I am available to edit, and advise on poetry manuscripts, and teach creative writing.
